GridKit Terms of Use and Subscription Terms

Last updated: 27 September 2026

These terms describe the use of GridKit, its optional iCloud synchronization and its App Store subscriptions. GridKit is provided by Angelina Shamanova, based in Serbia (“we”, “us”). Contact: angelinashamanova@gmail.com.

1. Apple’s standard license agreement

GridKit is licensed under the Apple Standard End User License Agreement. These additional terms explain GridKit’s features and subscription arrangements; they do not replace that license agreement or Apple’s terms for the App Store, purchases or iCloud.

Your mandatory rights under applicable consumer law remain unaffected. If these additional terms conflict with Apple’s standard license agreement on the application license, the standard license agreement controls, subject to mandatory law.

2. What GridKit provides

GridKit lets you create personal planner notes, tasks, events, recurring entries and reminders, customize their appearance, and view saved content in a widget. Optional iCloud sync can keep planner content up to date across supported devices signed into the same iCloud account.

The app does not require a separate GridKit account. An Apple account and Apple services are needed for App Store purchases and, if you choose to use it, iCloud sync. Availability depends on your device, software version and the availability of those services.

3. Monthly and yearly subscriptions

GridKit offers monthly and yearly automatically renewing subscriptions. Both provide the same planner access; their billing periods differ. The price, currency, billing period and applicable offer are shown in the app and in Apple’s purchase confirmation before you commit. The amount shown by the App Store for your account and region applies.

Payment is handled by Apple using your Apple account. We do not collect card details or charge you separately. Prices may vary by region and may change through Apple’s subscription processes, including notice or consent when required.

4. Seven-day free trial

A seven-day free trial is offered to eligible users where it is available in the App Store. Apple determines eligibility. Monthly and yearly plans belong to the same subscription group, so changing plans does not give you a second introductory trial in that group.

Starting the trial requires confirming a subscription through Apple. Unless you cancel in time, the subscription continues as a paid subscription at the price and interval shown at confirmation. Follow the cancellation deadline displayed by Apple; to avoid the first paid renewal, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Apple may end access immediately when a free trial is cancelled in some circumstances, as explained in its cancellation interface and terms.

If you are not eligible for a trial, the app shows the paid subscription option and Apple confirms the applicable charge before purchase.

5. Renewal, cancellation and changing plans

Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the applicable renewal deadline. You can manage or cancel a subscription through Apple account settings → Subscriptions, or through GridKit settings → Manage subscription while the app is accessible. Apple’s subscription settings remain available even if you cannot open GridKit’s planner.

For a paid subscription, cancelling future renewal normally leaves access available until the current paid period ends, subject to Apple’s rules, refunds and revocations. Trial cancellation is subject to the rules described above. Deleting GridKit, clearing notes or disabling iCloud sync does not cancel the subscription.

You can switch between the monthly and yearly plans using Apple’s subscription controls. Apple determines when the change takes effect and any resulting charges or credits, and shows those details during the change.

6. Restoring access and payment issues

Use Restore purchases on the paywall while signed into the Apple account associated with the purchase. Restoration requires a valid entitlement and does not create a new purchase or revive an expired subscription.

If payment cannot be completed, a purchase is awaiting approval, a subscription expires or Apple revokes a transaction, access may be unavailable. Any billing grace period recognized by StoreKit is respected while the entitlement remains valid. If a verified subscription is active but access is unavailable, try restoring purchases and contact angelinashamanova@gmail.com if the issue continues.

After access ends, GridKit shows a subscription screen. Existing notes are not automatically deleted, and the widget may still display saved notes. The current version requires active subscription access to reach planner editing and app settings. Data removal through device and iCloud storage controls and contacting support do not require an active subscription.

7. Refunds and consumer rights

Apple handles requests for refunds of App Store purchases. You can submit a request at reportaproblem.apple.com or through the relevant Apple support process. Eligibility and processing are governed by Apple’s rules and applicable law.

Nothing in these terms excludes statutory cancellation, withdrawal, refund, conformity or other consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Your content and responsible use

You keep your rights to the content you enter. GridKit processes it only as needed to provide the features you use, such as local editing, reminders, the widget and optional sync. These terms do not transfer ownership of your notes to us or grant us a right to use them for advertising or AI training.

You are responsible for the content you choose to enter and for having any permissions needed to process other people’s information. Use GridKit lawfully and do not interfere with its security or operation. The app’s software and design remain subject to the rights of their respective owners and Apple’s standard license agreement, including exceptions allowed by law.

9. Synchronization, reminders and keeping copies

Sync depends on iCloud availability, your account, storage capacity, connectivity and supported devices. Changes can take time to appear on another device, and simultaneous edits can require conflict resolution.

Reminders depend on notification permission, device settings and operating system behavior. GridKit is not designed as an emergency, medical or other safety-critical reminder system. Keep a separate copy of information you cannot afford to lose; a synchronized copy should not be treated as an independent backup against accidental edits or deletion.

10. Privacy, availability and changes

The GridKit Privacy Policy explains data handling and removal options.

We may update the app to maintain compatibility, fix issues or change features. We will comply with applicable law and Apple’s rules regarding material changes to paid services, subscription prices and discontinuation. These terms do not authorize charging for a different subscription without any confirmation required by Apple or law.

Availability can be affected by maintenance or services outside our control. Warranty and liability provisions are governed by Apple’s standard license agreement and applicable law; these terms do not waive rights or liabilities that cannot be excluded by law.

If these terms change, we will update their revision date and provide any notice required by law. Changes do not remove rights that have already accrued or retrospectively alter completed purchases.
